The Arizona Magic: the Gathering scene sent several representatives to Star City’s Sin City stop, and it did not go unnoticed. Jon Kornacki cruised through the Standard Open with an 8-0-2 record playing UB Control, and took down the Top 8, becoming the SCG: Las Vegas Standard Champion! Adam Prosak got 11th place with U/W Illusions but Arizona did not stop there. Armed with Reanimator, Tony Murata Top 8’d the Legacy Event but fell in the Top 4 to the eventual champion, Jonathan Job. Andres Cifuentes also managed to break into the Top 16 with Merfolk!
