Who knew that the first SCG Legacy Open featuring Khans of Tarkir would have a winner with not just one, two, or even three Treasure Cruises in the maindeck? Bob Huang ran through the competition with four Treasure Cruises and was not just handsomely rewarded with a well deserved trophy, but also credit for changing the face of the Legacy format with UR Delver. The power of Treasure Cruise is undeniable, but he also showed off the power of Monastery Swiftspear. The ability to chain together cantrips to be able to deal tons of damage as early as turn two surprised opponents left and right – and it still does, as UR Delver remains the #1 deck to beat three months later.
