Over four thousand players descended upon the New Jersey Convention Center in the middle of November to battle in a Legacy tournament for the ages. Eighteen rounds later, one player emerged victorious – Brian Braun Duin, with his innovative take on Jeskai Stoneblade. Adding Stoneforge Mystic, Swords to Plowshares, and True-Name Nemesis to a UR Delver shell slowed him down a bit, but also gave him game against highly anticipated Delver “mirror”. As it turned out, it gave him game against the rest of the tournament apparently, winning the largest Legacy tournament of all time. How do you think this deck is positioned in January?
