I love this card. Not only do you have to get 7 mana to cast it, you also need a Plains (after needed three green mana) to trigger its ability…then pay a bunch of mana. Then deal 1 damage. To a creature. With flying.

This card actually makes sense at pretty much every point, which is surprising considering how much text it has. But what’s a little notable are the two activated abilities – basically, the same ability is cheaper if you control a green permanent. It’s an interesting design point that’s a little reminiscent of a card like Warden of the First Tree.
