It’s battle of the fast mana for this particular bracket. Ancient Tomb has enjoyed a lot of popularity lately due to the rise in not only the Eldrazi decks, but also the various Stompy archetypes such as Monored Sneak Attack and Painter. However, Dark Ritual is a coveted card for many players, partially due to the nostalgic Dark Ritual into Hypnotic Specter on turn one, and also due to a little card called Tendrils of Agony.
This bracket is truly a brawl here – these creatures attack and block better than most creatures in the format, and now they’re pit against each other in the first round. Which one would you rather have on your side of the table?
