Wizards of the Coast just announced the new From the Vault series — FTV: Lore! Apparently this will contain cards that were important to the Magic: the Gathering storyline. See their description below:

This limited-edition set includes cards from throughout Magic‘s history that are renowned for both their power and the stories behind them. Surprise your foes with blasts from the past they’ll have to see to believe.
What cards do you think will be in it? Some guesses from Reddit include:
- Obliterate (a spell cast during the Phyrexian Invasion of Dominaria)
- Myojin of Night’s Reach (Nicol Bolas’ disguise on Kamigawa)
- Momir Vig (guild leader of the Simic from the original Ravnica set and possibly the subject of the art above)
- Damnation (keep dreaming)
