At PAX East today, Wizards of the Coast unveiled an image of the Fall 2012 “Hook” set — it contained a recent face along with a good friend from young years: the planeswalker Jace and the dragon leader of the Izzet, Niv-Mizzet. It is none other than the Return to Ravnica! The three letter code is RTR and the hashtag is #mtgrtr.
In addition, Wizards of the Coast spoiled the following cards: Demonlord of Ashmouth; Restoration Angel; Sigarda, Host of Herons; Silverblade Paladin; and Thunderous Wrath. It showcased two new mechanics in Avacyn Restored: Soulbond and Miracle. Undying also makes a return in Avacyn Restored, the only mechanic to return from the previous two sets (flashback and double faced cards are not in Avacyn Restored).
